What are your postage charges ?

All mantel clocks are £2.50 each for postage ( unless otherwise stated )
All wall clocks are £3.50 each for postage ( unless otherwise stated )
and the most you will ever pay is £5 in one order,
I try and send items the same day or the day after I get the order,
because I just work by myself I sometimes don't check for any orders until the evening
when I have access to a computer but I will always send you a quick e-mail to let you know your purchase has been sent.

Ok folks, here is the long and boring stuff about the new privacy laws that you have probably already read on other websites about a million times by now,

But by law I need to list them and you need to read every word and I will be testing you at the end !

( I'm only joking, only read them if you want, its up to you... )

Even though this is just a hobby of mine you still have a right to know what I do with your information,

So here goes.....

You do have the right to ask me for what information I hold on you, but I will tell you everything now anyway, and you can also ask to have all your information removed if I no longer need or use it, but I will be deleting all your information anyway after it has served its purpose,

Unlike a lot of other websites, I personally don't collect any browsing information from you while you are looking at my website,
I am not concerned about which pages you are looking at or how long you stay on my site,
( and anyway you would only be a number and I would not be able to identify you )

I have created this website myself from scratch and as such it is under my full authority, I do not add or allow other 3rd parties to set up or put adverts of any kind on my pages, it is very annoying when you are looking at a website and you keep getting adverts popping up, and I do not want you to experience that on my website, the only way I want to make money is from you buying my products, not from me selling advertising to bigger companies.

The only time cookies will be used and information will be collected is when you add something to the shopping cart or place an order, where I will need to collect your postal address, e-mail address and phone number, this information is used solely for the purpose of delivering your item to you,

At the moment I am not sending out any marketing e-mails or brochures or anything like that, but if that ever changes then it will be an opt in system where you will need to give me your permission before I send you anything,

If you do place an order on my website I will send you a confirmation e-mail once I have posted your order to let you know it has been sent and the estimated delivery date, but that is all, there will not be any marketing or sales adverts in that e-mail,

I just work for myself,
I do all the making, the accounts, take the orders and do the wrapping up so I am the only one who will ever deal with your information,

There is however a shopping cart I use, Roman Cart, who collects your address etc when you place an order on my website and I use two companies who process your credit cards, Paypal and Nochex who will have their own privacy policies on their own sites,

I never get to see your credit card information so therefore I am unable to store your credit card information.

I will also never rent or give out your information to any third parties,

I keep a copy of the invoice with your name and address and e-mail address and the price you paid for the item you ordered so I can refer back to it if there is ever a problem with your purchase and so I can keep my tax records up to date, I will keep these for 4 years and then destroy them by fire !

I can also securly log in to Paypal and Nochex and Roman Cart and see your purchase information there, and again, all I can see is the information you provide when you place the order.... No credit card information at all..

And thats about it... I think ?... That wasn't too painful now was it :)

If any of these policies change I will come back and adjust this page as necessary.

Returns

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 ( "the Regulations"),
UK customers have the right to cancel an order placed with me within 14 working days of receipt of the goods,

Cancellation must be in writing, by first class post or e-mail

You must return the goods to me AT YOUR EXPENSE (including all packaging, product boxes, etc.)
Unless there is an actual problem with the item in which case I will pay that postage, but please contact me first before paying for any postage.

Please note that proof of posting is NOT proof of receipt.
You are liable for the goods until they are delivered to me, and I will not reimburse you until the goods are returned to myself
in a good (fit for resale) condition.
I strongly advise you to use Royal Mail Special Delivery or other insured and tracked delivery service
for this purpose in order to be sure that any goods returned are delivered safely to back to me

Can I pay by cheque ?

Yeah, of course, but I will need to allow the cheque to clear before I send your item

Do you do commission work ?

No...sorry.....As this is only really a hobby of mine I don't have that much time to spend
and to set about making a one off special commissioned item would take a lot of that time
and I would have to charge a crazy amount for doing so, I just make what I can when I can and offer those items for sale
